When I visited the first few pandals it was difficult for me to believe, yes human creates God as every idol were unique and beautiful. Even every small detailing elements of pandal left me speechless and were worth capturing. The decoration is never less than fabulous based on different themes which reflect the trends, technology, culture, our living society, temples, and movies.
The creation of idols was not just from Ganga mud or clay but many other things like Jute. It made me feel like every pandal speaks that Goddesses Durga is here between us dressed in real jewelry from the set of Padmavati, and silver chariot was a major attraction with the budget of more than 10 crores. Pandal hopping with tremendous basic things like tea bags, threads, sack, mud crafting, chandeliers using rope, bamboo, glass, iron nuts, block print, colorful printed clothes and much more.
Beside these mesmerizing things, the living Goddesses from Brahma Kumaris again left me speechless. It seems like just 9 days and so much to see. From the rangolis crafted on the road, Bengali dance to red bordered white saree, beautifully dressed Bengal ladies and kids, midnight 3:00 am or early morning 5:00 am crowds everything is mesmerizing. The roadside dhabas and small kiosks don’t let you down to explore the uncounted beauty of pandal hopping.
However, it is very difficult for me to decide which the best is but still here is the name of a few idols and pandals which is a must visit for this year are as 95 Pally, 66 Pally, Babubagan, Deshbandhu Park, Hindustan Park, Shribhumi, chetla, Suruchi Sanghi, New Alipur, Sikdar Bagan, Kashibose lane and much more out of more than 10000 pandals which is difficult to cover up.
Here are a few Shots captured of Beautiful Idols:
Last not but the least the heavy crowd also enjoys dandiya night and rice cooked Prasad known as khichdi and sindur Khela is the added charm of this much-awaited festival.
The color of nine days charm though me it’s not just about wearing new clothes and enjoying rides but actually, it is something beyond which can’t be expressed in words and captured. For me, I don’t feel anything would be more captivating than this subho durga Pojar.
