It was of no surprise when the young Indian who has a solid domestic season attracted bidders in the auction. The former player of KKR went to Sunrisers Hyderabad for 11 Crore. He has potential to make valuable input in the team.
KL Rahul also shared the list with Manish Pandey bagging the same amount Rs. 11 Crore to play for Kings XI Punjab. The Indian opener is quite reliable with his batting skills and has shown his capability many a times.
The Mumbai Indians fans will again have the opportunity to see the Pandya brothers play alongside for their favorite team. Hardik Pandya was retained by the team earlier and his brother Krunal Pandya was taken from the auction for a sum of 8.8 Crore.
It is always good to see the young Indian players drawing some attention in the IPL auction. Sanju Samson will have the opportunity to play again for his former club Rajasthan Royals. The Royals signed the player for 8 Crore in the 11th edition of the IPL.

Benjamin Stokes or better known as Ben Stokes in the cricketing world kept the reputation of being the top buys of the IPL once again when was taken by the Rajasthan Royals for a 12.5 Crore.
The Queenslander was expected to go big in this year IPL auction and he got the response he deserved. The Australian opener was signed by its former team KKR with 9.6 Crore.
The left arm fast bowler from Australia has already set his reputation in the last World Cup. Starc was taken by KKR for an amount of 9.4 Crore.
This year IPL auction proved lucky for another Australian T20 specialist Glen Maxwell. There were lot of contenders for Maxwell but Delhi bagged the Australian batsman for 9 Crore.
The youngest among the lot, Rashid Khan was always in the eye of the franchisees. It was expected from them to go big for the young spinner from Afghanistan. But his former club used their RTM card to get back their player when he got sold to Kings XI Punjab for 9 Crore.
